U9 2023/24 Evaluation skates

Hello Parents of this seasons U9 players,

Hockey is BACK!

My name is Abby Sentes I will be your U9 Director this season, I'm pleased and excited to let you know that we have solidified dates for tryouts. SHC wanted to get these out to parents early so that no one misses any dates. Please see below for times and any information that you may need prior to returning to the ice.

Try out dates are as Follows:
Thursday September 7th 4:30- 5:30pm or 5:45 - 6:45pm(groups are TBD - Skill Skate
Saturday September 9th 1:00 - 2:00pm or 2:15 - 3:15pm - Scrimmage
Sunday September 10th 4:30 - 5:30pm or 5:45 - 6:45pm - Scrimmage

Groups are TBD, I will email groupings as soon as I get them.

All tryouts will be held at the MLC. SHC is pleased to announce that all evaluations will be conducted by an external company by the name of Bar Down. They will be providing all on-ice instructors and off ice evaluators for all age groups this season. As we only have limited time with this group, please ensure that your player can be at each skate for a fair tryout. If your player cannot make it, please contact me ASAP.

Coming soon will be conditioning skates for all players. The schedule has not been released for the dates or times as of yet but should take place the week before try outs (before the September long weekend). If you are able to help out on the ice for the conditioning skate, please let me know and I can forward all the info once it has been released.

I look forward to seeing all the players hit the ice in the next couple of weeks.
