U11 2023/24 Evaluation Skates - REVISED
Hello Parents and U11 players,
My name is Pamela Durdle and I will be your U11 Director this year. I am looking forward to working with everyone. I am new to this position, and I appreciate your patience with me as I learn my role.
I am excited to let you know that we have received the dates for try outs. SHC wanted to get these out to parents and players as soon as we could, so that everyone has the opportunity to plan for their sessions. Please see below for times and any information that you may need prior to returning to the ice.
Try out dates are as follows:
Thursday September 7th Skill Skate: - 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm or 8:15 pm -9:15 pm (groups TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
Friday September 8th GOALIES: 7:00-8:00pm or 8:15-9:15pm (groups are TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
Saturday September 9th Scrimmage: 3:30 p.m - 4:30 p.m or 4:45 p.m - 5:45 p.m (groups are TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
Sunday September 10th Scrimmage: 9:15 a.m - 10:15 a.m or 10:30 a.m - 11:30 a.m (groups are TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
Tuesday September 12th Scrimmage: 4:30 p.m - 5:30 p.m or 5:45 p.m - 6:45 p.m (groups TBD) I will email groups as soon as I receive them.
All tryouts will be held at the MLC. Please keep in mind that if your player(s) will be trying out for Sting, they DO NOT attend any house try outs unless they have been released by Sting.
Also coming soon will be the dates and times for the conditioning skates for all players. The schedule has not been released for dates or times as of yet, but should take place the week before try outs. If you are able to help on ice for the conditioning skates, please let me know and I can forward all the information once it has been released.
SHC is also pleased to announce that all evaluations will be conducted by Bar Down. They will be providing all on-ice instructors and off ice evaluators for all age groups this year. As we only have limited time with this group, please ensure that your players can be at each skate for a fair try out. We do understand that illness, injuries and pre-planned vacation happen, but encourage all players to be on the ice. If your player cannot make it, please contact me ASAP.
