Message from the Executive

Nov. 14, 2021

Just a reminder that as per the Government of Alberta, effective Monday, November 15, Alberta vaccine records with QR codes (paper or digital) will be the only valid Alberta proof of vaccination accepted by operators participating in the Restrictions Exemption Program. This includes the Morinville Leisure Centre, Legal Arena, City of Edmonton facilities and all other arenas participating in the program. Valid personal ID is required for guests who are 18 years of age and older.

Vaccine records from First Nations, military, other provinces, and international travellers will continue to be accepted. The record must display the name, type of vaccine and date of administration.

When a valid QR code is scanned, a green check mark will verify proof of vaccination. It will also display a person’s name and date of birth, which we will check against an ID.

If you do not have online access to download your vaccine record with a QR Code, visit a participating library or registry agent to print your record at no cost or call 811 to have your record mailed to you.

Albertans turning 12 and older can get their vaccine record with QR code at:https://covidrecords.alberta.ca/home
