Return to Play Update

August 7, 2020: Our Executive has been working diligently over the past month with Hockey Alberta and Hockey Edmonton on a safe Return to Play Plan for our members. Hockey Alberta has been consulting on a regular basis with the Government of Alberta and Hockey Canada to stay current with any changes and to gather feedback, questions and best practices. Based on this feedback, discussions and inquiries with applicable groups, they are working on an updated version of their Return to Hockey Plan that was released on June 30th. They have recently provided our Executive with updated details for phase one (1) to assist us in our planning for the upcoming 2020-21 season; however, Hockey Alberta is still in the process of requesting Government of Alberta clarification in several areas prior to the release of a revised Return to Hockey Plan. Our Executive will be attending meetings with Hockey Alberta and Hockey Edmonton over the next week and will provide an update to our membership with details on our SHC Return to Play Plan by August 15th.
